Made in Uzbekistan” in Lahore – A New Era of Economic Cooperation Between Uzbekistan and Pakistan!

February 11,2025-Expo Center Lahore- President BACP Jawad REHMAN visited the “Made in Uzbekistan” industrial exhibition officially opened in Lahore. Mr. Rehman met HE. Mr. Alisher Tukhtaev Ambassador Republic of Uzbekistan. Mr. Rehman appreciated the efforts and highlighted that through such collaborations one can propose to strategically navigate the efforts of such sanctions and boost Pak-Uzbek Bilateral Trade. This strategic initiative, organized with the active support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation and create new business opportunities.

Leading Uzbek manufacturers are showcasing their products across various industries, including:

• Textile and leather industry

• Electronics and household appliances

• Agriculture and agro-industry

• Pharmaceuticals and chemical products

The exhibition has attracted thousands of business representatives and officials, including:

• Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Khurram Teshaboyev

“By the end of 2024, bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Pakistan exceeded $404 million. Under the directives of our Leaders, we are actively working towards achieving the $1 billion goal in the coming years. Today’s exhibition is an important step in this direction.
