Cardiovascular Disease Conference Held in Moscow

February 4-6, 2024-Moscow-The XV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Hybrid Technologies in the Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases” MICHS-2024 was held from February 4 – 6 in Moscow, Russia. This was organized by the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical Research Center for Cardiology’ named after Academician E.I. Chazov”. This was an initiative of Dr. Renat Suleymanovich Akchurin – Head of the State Program for the development of high-tech medicine, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the organizers, participants and guests and shared:

“I am confident that the conference will be held in a constructive manner and will help strengthen international cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. I wish you success and all the best.”

Dr. Asif ur Rehman – Professor of Pediatric Cardiology and Dr. Rehan Sahid – Assistance Professor of Cardiac Surgery from Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore, Pakistan were invited from Pakistan.

This was first time in the Pakistan-Russian bilateral history that Medical Doctors/Professors participated in ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “HYBRID TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TREATMENT OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES”

They had chance to meet and exchange views with the leading interventional cardiologist and cardiac surgeons particularly Dr. Vishnavsky, -Director National Medical Research Centre and Chief Surgeon Ministry of Health Russia and Professor Imaev T.E – Founder of the Modern Medical Technologies.

They expressed that their visit would open up new windows of co-operation, exchange of knowledge and expertise in the field of intervention cardiology and cardiac surgery between Pakistan and Russia and also discussed about mutual exchange internship, residency and postgraduate program which was warmly appreciated.

The Pakistani doctors were warmly welcomed by Mr. Alexander – Chief Organizer and Director of Modern Medical Technologies and Mr. Jawad ur Rehman – President Business Association for Corporation with Pakistan. They expressed their gratitude to the conference organizers and to the Russian government for making their visit possible.
