Mr. Rehman welcomed the participants and appreciated their efforts. Mr. Rehman highlighted through such collaborations and visits one can propose to strategically navigate the efforts of such sanctions and boost Pak-Russian Bilateral Trade. Mr. Rehman discusses with the delegates, need of increasing collaboration between Russia in the field of Trade, Investment and Tourism, Pakistan and Russia, as two emerging economies in the world, and have the potential to significantly enhance their economic cooperation and create opportunities for growth and development.

Mr. Rehman highlighted that the connectivity between Pakistan through Central Asin States to Russian Federation holds immense opportunities and great possibilities for growth and development which required to be untapped. Both countries possess valuable resources and capabilities that can complement each other. Pakistan, with its young and growing population, offers a vast consumer market for Russian goods and services. On the other hand, Russia’s advanced technology and expertise can help Pakistan improve its infrastructure and industrial capabilities.

One of the key areas where Pakistan and Russia can collaborate is in the energy sector. Russia is a major producer of oil and gas, while Pakistan is facing energy shortages. By working together, both countries can address their energy needs and explore opportunities for joint ventures in this sector. Additionally, cooperation in the fields of agriculture, technology, Railways, Pharmaceuticals, Textiles, Automobile spare parts, Sport goods, Leather products, surgical products, defense, IT & Cyber security can also be mutually beneficial for Pakistan and Russia.
